Palliative Acupuncture
Geriatric care is one of Joyce’s specialties. For 15 years, she has provided palliative acupuncture to clients in their homes and residential care facilities. When patients no longer seek curative or invasive therapies, acupuncture offers gentle symptom relief for pain, tension, nausea, anxiety, constipation, fatigue and more. Palliative acupuncture complements Western medical treatment because of its unique facility in treating mind, body and spirit. Comfort care therapies include the use of acupuncture, acupressure, reflexology, tuning forks, essential oils and energy work. Joyce also utilizes her multi-faith chaplain skills, sensitive listening, and introspective dialogue to offer comfort and reflection during end-of-life transitions.
Joyce is available for treating in home or at residential care facilities. Contact Joyce for rates.
